How to find a previous Geneva Graduate Institute Master or PhD thesis?
-
There are two ways to search for Master or PhD theses from our Institute:
- Institutional Repository:
Click on the double arrows below the search bar to display the various filters (collections, departments, thematics, etc.):
You can use the * symbol for truncation in your chosen keywords.
To download the full PDF, if available, you must be affiliated to the Geneva Graduate Institute and log in with your Switch edu-ID.
By default, Master and PhD theses are 'restricted' (they require a Geneva Graduate Institute login). Upon request of the author, PhD theses can be made fully private (accessible to nobody) for an embargo period of 3 years.
- Swisscovery
Useful to retrieve PhD theses' call number and locate print copies in our main collection.
However, a printed copy of PhD theses is kept in the Library (compactus area and main collection). It can be borrowed for 7 days, renewable 5 times.
As of 2012, copies of Master's theses are no longer kept in the Library.
