How to access newspapers online through the Library?
-
The Library subscribes to the aggregator PressReader. Search or scroll through the latest issues of a wide range of Swiss and international newspapers and magazines, including:
- The Guardian
- The Independent
- The Washington Post
- Foreign Affairs
- Le Temps
- China Daily
- New African
- El Pais
- Corriere della Serra
- Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ)
The NZZ is now available remotely under these terms: - access to the second-to-last edition of the main newspaper available (e.g. the Tuesday edition will be available on Thursday; the Friday edition will be available on Monday) - access to the Sunday Edition on Mondays following a 24-hour embargo |
The Library subscribes separately to The New York Times, The Financial Times, and Le Monde, and offers access to two historical archive collections:
Useful to bear in mind that on the database Nexis Uni, although you cannot select newspaper titles, you can still search through articles from many international newspapers.
If you are off campus, a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection is required.
