How to book a study room?

-

The Library offers seven study rooms, called 'Bubbles', for use by Geneva Graduate Institute students, for the purpose of private or team study. These are located on level 1 and 2 of the Library.

How to book a bubble

  • Click on the link: https://graduateinstitute-ch.libcal.com/spaces

  • Search by Time: choose the date and hours of your reservation

    Remember these main principles:
    • Graduate Institute community only
    • Same day or next 2 days only
    • 4 hours maximum per day
    • 4 reservations maximum per day
    • No eating in the bubbles, only covered drinks allowed
    • An updated Graduate Institute multi-service card is required to enter the bubbles
    • The Library reserves the right to cancel reservations when a bubble remains unused for over 15 minutes

  • Click on "Search"

  • The system will only show you the available study rooms. If nothing appears, it means there are no rooms available at the times you have chosen. Click on the "Bubble" name to see more details about it. Select a room and click "Book Now".

  • Review the submitted booking details. If necessary, click "Change" to modify them.*

  • Fill in the different fields of the form to complete the booking: first name, last name and email address. Only @graduateinstitute.ch email addresses will be accepted.

  • If you have not already done so, please read the terms and conditions carefully and check the box.

  • Click on the button .

  • Success! The reservation has been made. A confirmation message has been sent to the address @graduateinstitute.ch indicated in the form. Check your spam folder if you did not receive it.
