How to book recording equipment?

The Library offers a variety of recording equipment available for Geneva Graduate Institute students and staff. These must be reserved at least a day in advance using an online application.

How to reserve recording equipment

  • Click on the item to reserve depending on use case (USB Mixer & mics, USB Microphone, or Field recorder).
  • Available slots are symbolised by grey squares. Each one represents a full day. Click on first day of your reservation.
  • A new box opens below the chart to show the starting details of the selection:

  • To borrow the item for more than one day, click on "Change return date".
  • In case of error, click on the bin symbol to delete the selection and start again.
  • Click on "Add to Cart & Checkout".
  • Check the submitted booking details. If needed, click on "Remove" to start over.
  • If you have not already done so, please read the terms and conditions carefully.
  • Click on "Continue".
  • Fill out the different fields of the form to complete the booking: first name, last name and email address. Only @graduateinstitute.ch email addresses are accepted.    
       
  • Click on "Submit my booking".
     
  • Success! The reservation has been made. A confirmation message has been sent to the @graduateinstitute.ch address indicated in the form. Check your spam folder if you did not receive it.
