How to print or make copies in the Library?

-

The Library offers several multifunction printers to the Geneva Graduate Institute community. Use your multi-services card to print, copy, or scan documents.

To print on one of the computers in the Library, choose the 'PaperCut' printer option.

To print from your own Wi-Fi connected device, log on to the PaperCut web application, using your OneLogin account. In the Web Printing option, select your output preferences then drag and drop the files you wish to print.

Printing charges apply. Scanning is free of charge and does not require a user card per se:

  • A4 format:
    Single-sided black/white - CHF 0.10
    Double-sided black/white - CHF 0.15
    Single-sided colour - CHF 0.20
    Double-sided colour - CHF 0.30

  • A3 format (Only possible from the Law sector printer, level 1):
    Single-sided black/white - CHF 0.20
    Double-sided black/white - CHF 0.30
    Single-sided colour - CHF 0.40
    Double-sided colour - CHF 0.60

  • Scan:
    Free

Printing credits are granted per semester to MA, PhD, MIDS and Exchange programmes only.

To check your printing balance, you can use the multifunction printers' screen but bear in mind these will display the cumulative amount of printing and money credit that you may have added for other payments. To find out your remaining printing credit only, you should log in to the PaperCut web application. If you are offsite, ensure to have activated the VPN (Virtual Private Network) before logging on.

A3 printing is possible, but only from the Law sector printer on level 1.

Unfortunately, there are no printing or photocopying facilities for external visitors, only scanning.
